CHANEL SS20 Parisian Rooftops

In the two years I've been attending Chanel shows, I've seen a tropical beach, a winter wonderland and now a Parisian rooftop. Walking into this season's Chanel show was something truly magical, the Grand Palais was transformed into a Parisian rooftop with zinc surfaces, walkways, chimney pots and skylights. As I took my seat on the benches, I got goosebumps knowing I was about to see something truly beautiful.

This time, the collection is so feminine and youthful. The straight-cut masculine tweed jacket was transformed into playsuits, jumpsuits or a little dress with a flared skirt. We see a lot of stripes, checks, prints with Parisian facades, graphic prints, vibrant colours like red, orange, pink and blue in the new Spring Summer 2020 collection.

Inspired by the atmosphere of the "Nouvelle Vague", Virginie Viard brought cinematographic grace to the Grand Palais. Chanel SS20 was an ode to the classic French girl style. By the end of it, I don't feel like I am watching a fashion show, it's like being in a romantic French film.

You guys have to watch the entire show over on CHANEL.com - the atmosphere, music and clothes are something you can't miss.

Stay chic,
xx
